The most recent X-LITE guardrail lawsuit was filed by a family whose mother was killed in the passenger seat of her husband's car. As of 1/31/18 the alleged death toll from X-LITE guardrails reached 11. In both cases, the X-Lite guardrail pieces failed to “telescope,” or slide into each other to absorb the impact of an oncoming vehicle.
